login about faq

I am running tectia SFTP server 6.1 on Windows. When I try to log in using key from unix I see the virtual home directory and the files (F:\Data). When I try to log in via putty client in Windows, I end up in the windows home directory C:\Users\

How can I prevent to access this directory? How can I automatically change root the login to the designated virtual home directory (F:\Data)?

Thanks

Hi Thomas,

Have you set the User home directory (Services > SFTP). You can allocate a custom directory if required. This should give you more information: http://www.tectia.com/manuals/server-admin/61/gui-services.html#gui-servicessftp

Thanks, James
