I want to open both the terminal and SFTP file transfer window when connecting to a server through a profile. Is there a way to do that?

The "Save Layout" function in the Tectia Client for Windows can be used to save settings such as size and number of windows when connecting to a server using a connection profile.

The GUI client for Windows has a function called "Save Layout" that is available under "File" in the pull down menu. This setting can be used to save GUI setting related to a connection profile.

For instance, if you typically need 3 terminal windows and 1 file transfer window when you connect to server1 you could

  1. Open the conneciton using the connection profile for server1
  2. Open the number of windows you want to have (two additional terminal windows and one file transfer window)
  3. Set the size and position of the windows to your liking
  4. Select File -> Save Layout

Next time you use the profile, the windows will automatically be organized by the layout you saved.
