I know stfp is a better way to move data. With the Tectia 6.0 for windows how can I increase the amount of data I can paste into the session? I update the scrollback but it is not impacting the amount of data I can paste in.

I'm not aware of an option to configure this.

How much data are you trying to paste?

I believe this is strongly linked to the version of Windows you are running. Older 32bit distros of Windows have a 8192 character command line length limit imposed by CMD.EXE.

tested this with Windows 7 32bit, a total of 8394 characters could be pasted into Windows command line, before I got the error "The input line is too long."

This is a Windows issue.

I can paste in in puTty so I don't think its cmd, unless the two act different.

Ok. I have now tested with the Windows GUI terminal, connecting to a Linux machine and was able to paste 10,000 characters without issue. I then upped the limit to 60,000 chars, which also worked. However surely you should look at SFTP and move the files, instead of copying and pasting?

My first statement acknowldeges that SFTP is better... I am looking to see if this is possible

Hi Scott, it is not something you can increase.
