In order to answer this question can you please be more descriptive? Such as: What versions of client and server are involved? What is it that you're doing? (Terminal connection, remote command, file transfer), authentication method used?

SSH client: OpenSSH

SSH Server: SSH Tectia Server v4.1

Action: Perform file transfer from SSH client machine to SSH Server machine by using sftp2.

Authentication method: public key

I have no idea if there has ever been a solution to similar problem in Tectia Client/Server of versions 4.x. I am “too new” in SSH for that. Versions 4.x are not supported for many years now. So it certainly is not going to get fixed there. But I would say that such problem is not present in current up-to-date versions of SSH Tectia Client and Server (6.3x - long term supported version; 6.4.x - the development version).

The only thing I can recommend is: upgrade to latest version, please. It is for your own good.

With regards

Martin
