Tectia for z/OS file transfers will not work if The USER ID assigned is revoked or suspended by too many invalid password attempts.

A RACF Listing of the ID will look like the below:

USER=testusr  NAME=test user     OWNER=IBMUSER   CREATED=09.064
 DEFAULT-GROUP=SYS1     PASSDATE=09.064 PASS-INTERVAL= 60 PHRASEDATE=N/A
 ATTRIBUTES=REVOKED

To correct the situation, have a Administrator that is RACF Special or Group Special over the ID enter the following RACF Command from Option 6

alu testusr resume

List the ID and the attributes should look like the following:

 USER=testusr  NAME=test user    OWNER=IBMUSER   CREATED=09.064
  DEFAULT-GROUP=SYS1     PASSDATE=09.064 PASS-INTERVAL= 60 PHRASEDATE=N/A
  ATTRIBUTES=NONE
  REVOKE DATE=NONE   RESUME DATE=NONE
