TECTIA 6.0 - IBM Mainframe - OS: z/OS 1.7
Can someone help me please?
File is being sent from Mainframe to a Unix Server using SFTPG3.
All the columns with data are arriving in the destination correctly, no problem with that.
File in Mainframe has record lenght equal a 515 characters and the last field of the record sometimes has data and sometimes is filled with blanks (concept of the business).
When the last field is filled with blanks, sftpg3 disregard this field and it is truncated in the field before which has data.
And the interesting thing is that using FTP this issue does not occur, record arrives in its destiny with the blanks in the last field correctly.
Records in MF, example:
Second record is filled with 4 blanks in the last field. "§" is the max limit of the record.
Records in the Unix Sever after transmission, example:
Second record does not have the lenght record equal to the first and third record. The "§" (mark the end of line) is in a wrong position.
is there a command or parameter (other than LRECL) that can be used to avoid the record to be truncated when the last field is filled with blanks?
Thanks in advance.
In the Unix Server
