CPACF (CP Assist for Cryptographic Function) is included on every CP and IFL in the z9-109 mainframe. To enable the feature for use, you should ask IBM to enable the no-charge feature number 3863.

The CPACF on z9 has support for the DES, TDES and AES (128bit) ciphers, as well as SHA-1 and SHA-256 hash functions.
