We have seen thousands of "read 8192" entries in our application log files when downloading files over SFTP using SSH Tectia Java API. We are using ConnectSecure version 6.0.x.

What could we do so those messages would not be printed?

In Tectia 6.0.11, and lower versions of the JAVA API every time the method FileHandle.read() is called, Tectia prints to the standard error (STDERR) log the amount of bytes read, resulting in "read 8192" messages flooding the STDERR log, depending on the size of the file being transferred.

This has been fixed in Tectia ConnectSecure versions 6.0.12 and higher. Please upgrade your ConnctSecure product.
