Server Configuration Files

All server configuration files and executables for the SSH Tectia Server (Windows) product are located in the installation directory. By default the location is the following: C:\Program Files\SSH Communications Security\SSH Secure Shell Server

User Configuration Files

By default the main server configuration file sshd2_config specifies that the UserConfigDirectory is %D/.ssh2. This means on Windows server %PROFILE%/.ssh2. The default locations for different Windows versions are listed below: Windows NT4 server C:\WINNT\Profiles\username\.ssh2\ Windows 2000, XP server C:\Documents and Settings\username\.ssh2 The UserConfigDirectory location can be changed to be somewhere else than in the %PROFILE% directory. However it is not possible to have the UserConfigDirectory on a network share. Also note that any SFTP related restrictions affect the user's possibility to upload their public key and authorization file to the UserConfigDirectory.
