You can use the following check if a process is alive:

ps aux | grep

Processes that are mandatory for MobileID authentication service:

midd -- The authentication service

mysqld – Accounting and logging database without which MobileID may experience delays that result to login failures.

Processes that are optional for MobileID authentication service:

httpd – Web Access administration service process.

Ndsd -- Web Access configuration database process
