At minimum, the following files are required to recover a MobileID installation:

  • /opt/tectia/midd/conf/midd.conf – full backup of mobileid configuration settings

  • /opt/tectia/midd/conf/midd.lic – mobileid license file

  • /opt/tectia/midd/conf/midd.key – encryption key for any user specific credential data such as password lists.

IMPORTANT! If midd.key is lost or corrupted, decryption of user specific mobileid credentials, such one-time-password lists, will fail.

Starting form version 1.3.1 paths are:

/etc/mobileid/midd.conf
/etc/mobileid/midd.lic
/etc/mobileid/midd.key
