I have read from user manual that public key authentication requires a .ssh2 directory under the user's profile directory on the server. But we cannot create this in Windows. Can you help us?

The .ssh2 directory is required by SSH Tectia, but Windows Explorer doesn't allow a user to create a directory starting with "."

By default, this directory is created upon the user's first login to the Tectia server. But in some instances, such as when only allowing public key authentication, the admin of the server must create the directory and place the user's key there in order to allow that first login to succeed.

The directory must be created at a DOS prompt. Start->Run->'cmd'.

Change directory to the user's profile directory, then issue the following command:

mkdir .ssh2
