After upgrading to Tectia 6.0.x or 6.1.x, you may encounter this error message.

This happens if you have an old(er) version of the broker process running and you upgrade to a new version of the software. After the upgrade the new clients expect the broker to be the new version also. You need to stop the broker and start it again. "/opt/tectia/bin/ssh-broker-g3 --exit" or kill the process and then start the broker with "/opt/tectia/bin/ssh-broker-g3" (or use the JCL on MF).
