Hello,

Found an issue on windows 2003, after upgrade to version 6.4.7. Tectia service is not starting. when i try to start manually it gives below error

[Jan 30 06:47:48] 2096 WARNING: pending operations with sshdap were registered. [Jan 30 06:47:48] 2096 SSHTectiaServer: Private file CreateFile failed with 3. / Can't create DB with correct permissions

we have several server running windows 2003.

please provide solution.

I suppose you must have solved this issue already. Can you tell us what was the problem? The first error looks like restart is required. The second looks like some access control problem.

Examine /var/log/auth (on the remote machine) when you try to connect and see what it says. Connections may be refused because of IP restriction, rejection of password authentication, wrong password, rejection of public or private key, or just ignored because of the wrong port. All assuming the request is even reaching the remote machine. Look in /etc/ssh/sshd_config to see what is allowed and what isn't.

I assume you have checked the sshd actually comes up and stays up? Try restarting it manually before you test to make sure there are no funny messages.
