It's not possible to post in this forum using Firefox 35.0. Intermittently, the CAPTCHA widget disappears from the "Ask a Question" page. If you click the final submit button ("Ask Your Question"), you get a red warning at the bottom of the page:

* This field is required

presumably indicating that nothing was typed into the CAPTCHA... but there's no CAPTCHA on the page; and the post fails.

Hi DanB,

Thanks for reporting this. So far I've been unable to reproduce the behavior you describe using Firefox 35 on both Mac & Windows. Would you be able to provide the content of the "browser console" if this happens again? (under Tools->Web Developer->Browser Console)

Here is the info from "JS":

Use of getUserData() or setUserData() is deprecated. Use WeakMap or element.dataset instead. cacheobj.js:829

window.controllers is deprecated. Do not use it for UA detection. nsHeaderInfo.js:412

Here are CSS warnings, trimmed due to length limits.

Expected 'none', URL, or filter function but found 'Alpha('. Error in parsing value for 'filter'. Declaration dropped.

Expected 'none', URL, or filter function but found 'mask('. Error in parsing value for 'filter'. Declaration dropped.

Expected declaration but found '#border-color'. Skipped to next declaration.

(Same for #border-style)

Unknown property '-moz-border-radius'. Declaration dropped.

(Same for '-moz-border-radius-bottomleft', '-moz-border-radius-topleft', '-moz-border-radius-topright', '-moz-box-shadow', and 'zoom'.)

Worth noting that this also fails if you're accessing this site with HTTPS in Chrome. The page tries to load the Captcha with HTTP, which fails a security check.
