To change admin password, do the following in the server terminal:

- Run slapppasswd and enter new password when prompted:
  # slappasswd

As a result, you will get the hash of the password in RFC2307
format, starting with {SSHA}-prefix.

- Stop LDAP
  # /etc/init.d/ldap stop

  Openldap version 2.4

- Edit the OpenLDAP password entry in 'cn=config' database directive
olcDatabase' that is located in /etc/openldap/slapd.d/cn\=config/olcDatabase\=\{1\}bdb.ldif

Find olcRootPW entry, and change the password to the hash value
  from slappasswd. For example:
  olcRootPW:{SSHA}<hash-value>

  OpenLdap version prior 2.4

- Edit the OpenLDAP password entry in /etc/openldap/slapd.conf file

Find rootpw entry, and change the password to the hash value
  from slappasswd. For example:
  rootpw:{SSHA}<hash-value>

- Start LDAP
  # /etc/init.d/ldap start

Verify that the new password is set by logging in the Web Access at
http://<mobile-id-server-IP>:1443 and using the new password for the admin account.
