Hi. I have been facing a trouble.

I am using Tectia Client v5.1 and trying to PUT a file to a virtual folder in SFTP server. Then, I always get an exit value (6): no such file (server msg: 'No data found for file ID: abc.txt').

I am not able to solve this problem and cannot PUT a file to a virtual folder in SFTP server. Is it a bug in my Tectia Client v5.1, or is it some wrong setting in my own?

Could you help me to find out why I get the error and how I can solve this issue? Thank you so much!

Hi blue_flower. Did you manage to resolve this problem? Thanks.

Hi blue_flower,

There were many bugs in version 5.1, especially on Windows platform. So I would not recommend anybody using it today. Most of the bugs have been fixed in the course of time. Version 5.1 is not anymore supported by SSH either. I would recommend you to upgrade to latest version of 6.3.4 (long term supported version) or to 6.4.0 (development, but stable version).

If your problem does not get solved, then come back and provide more details about your client side command and configuration and server side configuration. Possibly also snippet of client (Connection Broker) debug log and Server Debug log.

With regards

You really shouldn't be using this version. Far too many things have been fixed after that. Including vulnerability fixes.

I would have to spend hours to reproduce it and try to find out workaround... which I don't have at this moment.

Hi all,

Thank you for your support. After be advised that ver 5.1 was not cool, I downloaded the latest evaluation version and tried the same. The outcome was not different, so I thought it was not about the version.

But after a few weeks, I tried checksum=no before PUT command. Guess what? It worked fine finally. But the command did not work with ver 5.1, so you are right that we all should give up ver 5.1. certainly.

The problem was solved. thanks much! blue_flower

Hi All,

Unfortunately, I'm stuck with v5.1. I actually tried to use the PUT command again and the Administrator of the Server Side said that there is an 'OPEN' request that my server did when we issued the 'PUT' command.

================================================================ Open File Request to download file: FILE.txt. getDataContent Failed as input docID is null or not valid Open File Request. No data found for file ID: FILE.txt. Sending FileNotFound Exception ================================================================

Any ideas if there is any option that i can use on the PUT command to be able to successfully transfer files to the virtual server?

Thanks. Dann
