Tectia Server 6.3.4 for IBM z/OS is a maintenance release containing the following bug fixes:

Bug fixes

  • z/OS: Tectia Server for z/OS no longer goes into an endless loop after accept errors.

  • z/OS: Fixed a memory leak in ssh-broker-g3 when acting as a socks proxy.

  • All Platforms: Files no longer fail to be transferred to local destinations by using UNC paths.

  • z/OS: Upgrade to this version or newer, if /opt/tectia is a symblink, will no longer remove the symbolic link and regenerate a new hostkey par. Please, note Known issues entry, as this behavior still will happen if upgrading from 6.3.1 or 6.3.2, but any other versions should be clear.

  • Documentation: Updated the license file importing instructions on z/OS products.

  • Documentation: The company name changed from Tectia Corporation to SSH Communications Security Corporation. This has been updated to the documentation.

  • Documentation: Specified in ssh-keygen-g3 documentation that when generating keys in FIPS mode, the RSA key length should be between 1024 and 16384 bits.

  • Documentation: Improved the instructions on how to mount tapes.

  • All platforms: sftpg3 no longer stops executing if reading ssh_sftp_batch_file fails in some situations.

  • z/OS: Fixed the previous version detection in the upgrade shell script.

  • All platforms: Fixed the -i option from ssh-keygen-g3. Now, when the key specified by the -i option does not exist, the command reports the error properly.

For further information about the products and changes between the different versions, see the customer documentation and release notes at SSH product documentation web page.
