The 6.3.2 releases of Tectia SSH Client, Server, ConnectSecure and MFT Events address fixes to critical bugs and also add support for Oracle Solaris 11 on x86-64 platform as a new feature.

Bug Fixes

SSH Client

  • All Platforms: Fixed a deadlock when tunneling multiple requests in transparent FTP tunnel, static tunnels, and running Broker as a socks proxy.

  • All Platforms: SSH Tectia Broker no longer crashes when it operates in 'socks-proxy' mode and the FTP client disconnects while falling back to plain.

  • All Platforms: Broker stability improved in cases where the client disconnects due to connecting to a host whose name does not resolve.

SSH Server

  • Documentation: In z/OS Quick Start Guide and Administrator Manual, fixed the sample JCL for running SSHD2 as a started task.

  • Documentation: Added the environment variable SSH_MVS_CONSOLE to documentation.

  • z/OS: Fixed the upgrade script to detect the correct server version that is being upgraded.

  • z/OS: The script for uninstalling SSH Client and Server no longer fails to delete all required files.

  • z/OS: The sftpg3 site command file_status=MOD no longer fails to work for z/OS datasets.

  • All Platforms: Fixed a deadlock when tunneling multiple requests in transparent FTP tunnel, static tunnels, and running Broker as a socks proxy.

  • All Platforms: SSH Tectia Broker no longer crashes when it operates in 'socks-proxy' mode and the FTP client disconnects while falling back to plain.

  • All Platforms: SSH Tectia Broker no longer crashes when an application uses FTP Transparent Tunneling and an error occurs while establishing a connection that needs to be reported.

  • All Platforms: Broker stability improved in cases where the client disconnects due to connecting to a host whose name does not resolve.

ConnectSecure

  • Documentation: Added the requirement that for being able to compile and use SFT Java API on the supported 64-bit operating systems, the Java installation should be 32-bit.

  • All Platforms: Fixed a deadlock when tunneling multiple requests in transparent FTP tunnel, static tunnels, and running Broker as a socks proxy.

  • All Platforms: The option hostname from application of Transparent TCP Tunneling has been fixed.

  • All Platforms: The usage of the %DESTINATION_HOSTNAME% environment variable when doing a Transparent TCP Tunneling has been fixed.

  • All Platforms: SSH Tectia Broker no longer crashes when it operates in 'socks-proxy' mode and the FTP client disconnects while falling back to plain.

  • All Platforms: SSH Tectia Broker no longer crashes when an application uses FTP Transparent Tunneling and an error occurs while establishing a connection that needs to be reported.

  • All Platforms: Broker stability improved in cases where the client disconnects due to connecting to a host whose name does not resolve.

MFT Events

This release does not include any specific changes in MFT Events.
