We are currently doing assessment on IPv6-readiness for our customer who is using SSH Tectia as their SFTP server.

Would like to find out if IPv6 is supported for the following version:

  • SSH Tectia 6.1.0.668
  • SSH Tectia 6.1.8.136

Hi,

IPv6 is not officially supported in any version smaller then 6.2.4. Some features have been working with IPv6 also in older versions, but mostly in client and without any testing.

Ever since version 6.2.4 IPv6 support is being gradually brought in Tectia Client/Server/ConnectSecure/Events products.

See e.g.:

The most complete IPv6 support is of course present in the latest version -- 6.3.0, which is also coming as a Long Term Supported version.

IPv6 is fully supported in SSH client and server in version 6.3.0 with some minor exceptions. See the links above.

But if you need official statement on support of particular feature contact SSH support via official channels.

I hope this helped at least a little.
