Is there anyway to start SSH Tectia Client (GUI), have it connect to a server and then run a command? Something equivalent to "ssh id@hostname ls -la".

Theres not a way I know of to start the GUI and execute a command automatically, but the SSH Tectia Client comes with a command line client so using "sshg3 id@hostname ls -la" will work.
