What types of compression are supported by the SSH Tectia server and how is this implemented. User documentation does not explain. zlib is mentioned in places. As the tectia client has a compression option I assume the server supports it.

Hi Josh,

At the moment only zlib is supported. This is based on the zlib data compression library by Jean-loup Gailly and Mark Adler.

Is there something specific you are looking for?

As a side note, OpenSSH introduced a variety of the zlib compression (zlib@openssh) in version 4.2 which is set as the default. This is currently not supported by Tectia.
