While Connecting through the Tectia client we are getting the error as below,
error: Could not open connection to `XXXXX@securefiletransfer.company.net#22': Key exchange failed
Request your assistance in resolving the error.
Please also check that you have enabled correct KEX/MAC algorithms from the Tectia Server's configuration. I've seen these key exchange errors like this happening when the client and the server cannot agree about common algorithms.
Open Tectia Server's GUI configuration tool and navigate to:
"Connections and Encryption" -> select correct group, i.e. "Default-Connection" -> "Parameters" -> enable suitable KEX/MAC algorithms
Edit ssh-server-config.xml file and add algorithms' names to the list.
Please also check that connecting clients have enabled these algorithms from their configurations.

The most common reason for the error you are getting, is that the host key of the host you are trying to connect to is not saved to the knownhosts on the client side. Please see: http://www.ssh.com/support/documentation/online/ssh/winhelp/61/client-sshg3-connection.html
