To configure NTP (Network Time Protocol), execute following steps under Redhat, CentOS or Fedora core Linux.

  1. Install ntp:
    $ yum install ntp
  2. Turn ntp service on:
    $ chkconfig ntpd on
  3. Update time:
    $ ntpdate 0.europe.pool.ntp.org
  4. Start NTP:
    $ /etc/init.d/ntpd start

List of NTP servers can be found from http://www.pool.ntp.org/en/

If you are running MobileID as a guest under VMWare Host (very likely if you are running 1.3.1 or later) you should really take a look of http://kb.vmware.com/kb/1006427 which explains in detail how to configure the guest ntp and time sync in general.
