I am using Tectia version 6.1 of the Client and Server. I am using a small batch file that executes the following script:

sftpg3 userid@999.999.999.999 << EOF 2>&1
put --summary-display=bytes --prefix=X lqdvf001.334

We have three different ip addresses that we can use at this site. The first two ip addresses return the following message:

SFTP Error: Could not open connection to 'userid@999.999.999.999': Could not connect to '999.999.999.999'. Unable to connect to Broker
SVR: SFTP failed to 999.999.999.999; retrying with alternate site.

The third attempt always succeeds. When the user logs in manually, there is no problem with these ip addresses. Any ideas regarding this problem.

Hi, Can you confirm if the ssh-broker-g3 is running in the background before the first file transfer starts?

If a command-line client (sshg3, sftpg3, or scpg3) is started when the Connection Broker is not running in the background, the client starts the Broker in run-by-need mode. In this mode, ssh-broker-g3 will exit after the last client has disconnected.
