I was trying to customize the display transmission statistics shown by **SCPG3**. When I added the option "--statistics-format," I received the error message above. I checked the pdf manual for this version, and it's there.

Software info: scpg3: SSH Tectia Client 6.0.8 on x86-pc-windows Build: 52 Product: SSH Tectia Client License type: commercial SFT API: 2.0.3 (build

OS: Win XP SP3.

What should be done to correct this?

Thanks in advance.

Hello, could you please try to upgrade your Tectia Client/ConnectSecure to at least to v6.0.15?

For example, in v.6.0.15/6.1.5, we introduced a new name for that configuration option.

From the old release notes:

In release 6.1.5, the behavior of the --statistics option has changed and the --statistics- format option has been removed. Instead of them, use the new --summary-display and --summary-format options.

I was using Tectia ConnectSecure v.6.2.3 in my quick SCPG3 test:

C:\Users\samim>scpg3 --summary-format="\nTesting Custom Summary Format: \nTime: %D* \nDst_Path: %G \nFile size: %s \nTransfer Rate: %R \nElapsed Time: %y \n\t Random text here in this test \n\t\nCompression: %k\n" --summary-display=yes test-file.tar testuser@
testuser@'s password:
test-file.tar | 34MB | 1.4MiB/s | TOC: 00:00:24 | 100%

Testing Custom Summary Format:
Time: Wed Feb 29 2012 14:32:22 -0400*
Dst_Path: ./test-file.tar
File size: 35502080
Transfer Rate: 1.4Mi
Elapsed Time: 00:00:24
Random text here in this test

Compression: none

Hopefully this helps!

Regs, SamiM

Can anyone point me in the direction of the documentation that shows these new changes?
