No response so far. Is this functionality completely broken?

I am using SSH Tectia 6.1 and I am specifying a user defined key-map file "custom.sshmap".

It is not working in SSH6.1, but works fine in SSH3.2.

*My key-map has following commands:*

SSH Secure Shell Keymap File (do not delete or modify this line)

Control+C = "copy-selection()"
Control+V = "paste-selection()"
Control+C = "copy-selection()"
Control+V = "paste-clipboard()"

Basically I want to change mapping to cut-and-paste short-cuts. I want to change it from default(Ctrl-Insert and Shift-Insert) to Ctrl-C and Ctrl-V, which is common across all windows applications.

This functionality was working before in older SSH3.2 versions. Now it is broken. Even adding keys manually is not working.

Any patch available for this?

Please help me resolve this issue.

I would have to stop using or be forced to go back to 3.2, if this issue is not fixed.

Thanks, Arv

I believe the keymap files are not compatible between 3.2 and 6.1.

What version of 6.1 are you using? I believe there was a problem with this addressed in 6.1.5.

Have you tried recreating the keymap file using the 6.1 Tectia configuration editor?

When doing so (using a 6.1.7 client) my keymap file is written with the following and works as you describe:

# SSH Secure Shell Keymap File (do not delete or modify this line)

VK_C+Control = "copy-selection()"

VK_V+Control = "paste-clipboard()"

Thanks. First, I was specifying "VK_C" format - but it didn't work. I am using 6.1.0 and this functionality is completely broken there. How can I download and upgrade to 6.1.5 to get this fix?

Please help.

You can download them at https://downloads.ssh.com/ Note that you need a valid maintenance contract to download updates.
