I have below script, the script needs to connect to remote ftp and puts dat file over there, I observe we are able to connect to remote server and next statement pwd is working and then sput/put is not working. Please let us know how we can overcome this issue.

APPL_HOME=/home/fans . $APPL_HOME/live/c/fansenv.sh (sftpg3 --debug=7 -v --password=$VSP_FTP_PASS $VSP_FTP_USER@$VSP_FTP_SERVER_ADDR) << eof pwd sput --summary-display=simple $DATA_PATH/fulldtlsrt.dat fulldtl${VSP_FTP_SUFFIX}.dat quit ~

Try adding the following option:

-B -

Note the dash after the -B. This instructs sftpg3 to read from stdin. At least when using version 6.1.7. What version of Tectia client are you using?

Can be seen by running:

sftpg3 -V

More information about the syntax can be found here: http://productdocs.ssh.com/support/documentation/online/ssh/winhelp/61/sftpg3.html
